RESOLUTION NO. RS2002-1146

A resolution approving a grant from the Centerstone Community Mental Health Centers, Inc., to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center for services to eligible participants to assist with job training and securing employment.

Whereas, Centerstone Community Mental Health Centers, Inc., has awarded a grant in an amount not to exceed one million two hundred forty one thousand two hundred sixty dollars ($1,241,260) to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center for services to eligible participants to assist with job training and securing employment; and

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant be accepted.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Metropolitan Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant by and between Centerstone Community Mental Health Centers, Inc. and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center, in an amount not to exceed one million two hundred forty one thousand two hundred sixty dollars ($1,241,260), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2 That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
