RESOLUTON NO. RS2002-1108

A resolution approving an amendment to a grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health for health care for the homeless.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That the amendment to the grant contract previously approved by Metropolitan Council (RS-99-88), by and between the United States Department of Health and Human Services and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health for a term of November 1, 2001 to October 31, 2002, in an amount not to exceed six hundred forty seven thousand one seventy three dollars ($647,173) for healthcare for the homeless, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
