A resolution approving Amendment No. 5 to a grant agreement by and between the Tennessee Department of Health, Bureau of Health Services, and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, increasing the grant by $68,847.00 for a total amount not to exceed $7,907,788.00 for provision of Homeland Security and STD services.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That Amendment No. 5 to a grant agreement by and between the Tennessee Department of Health, Bureau of Health Services, and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, increasing the grant by $68,847.00 for a total amount not to exceed $7,907,788.00 for provision of Homeland Security and STD services, and for a term commencing on July 1, 2001, and extending through June 30, 2002, which Amendment is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said contract.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
