A resolution approving an amendment to a lease by and between the State of Tennessee and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County modifying the lease dates and revising the rental payment (2002M-037U-05).

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 099-1765 approved a lease between the State of Tennessee and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for operation of a medical examiner's office; and

WHEREAS, the parties have agreed to modify the term of the lease and revise the payment of rent; and

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 099-1765 provided that the lease may be amended by resolution receiving twenty-one (21) affirmative votes.

NOW, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the attached Amendment to the lease by and between the State of Tennessee and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County be and the same is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said Amendment.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
