A resolution approving a grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Department of Health, for health care for the homeless in the amount of $617,173 and for a term from November 1, 2001, through October 31, 2002.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Metropolitan Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Department of Health, for health care for the homeless in the amount of $617,173 and for a term from November 1, 2001, through October 31, 2002, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2 That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
