RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-834

A resolution approving a grant increase from the State of Tennessee Department of Health and Human Services to the Metropolitan Government by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health for an array of programs and services with the increased funding for Tuberculosis, and appropriating $1,291,518 for use in Fiscal Year 2002.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant increase from the State of Tennessee Department of Health and Human Services to the Metropolitan Government by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health for an array of programs and services with the increased funding for Tuberculosis with the increased amount not to exceed $1,291,518 and for a term beginning on July 1, 2001 and continuing through June 30, 2002, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is hereby approved and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That the following sum is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the General Services District to the account listed below which is in addition to those contained in the current operating budget:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
