RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-784

A resolution appropriating $27,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for the construction of drainage improvements on Old Matthews Road.

Whereas, the application for the twenty-seventh year of the Community Development Block Grant program was approved by the Metropolitan Council through Ordinance No. BL2000-495; and

Whereas, the application for the twenty-seventh year included funds allocated to special neighborhood activities including the development of infrastructure improvements that support the creation of affordable housing; and

Whereas, plans showing proposed improvements are on file at the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency; and

Now, Therefore, be it resolved by The Council of Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That $27,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to infrastructure improvements that support the creation of affordable housing be appropriated for the construction of drainage improvements on Old Matthews Road.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
