RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-748

A resolution appropriating $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for the construction of streetscape work and infrastructure improvements on Nolensville Road in the Woodbine Commercial District.

Whereas, application for the twenty-seventh year of the Community Development Block Grant program was approved by the Metropolitan Council through Ordinance No. BL2000-495; and

Whereas, the application for the twenty-seventh year included funds for streetscape work and infrastructure improvements in the Woodbine Commercial District; and

Now, Therefore, be it resolved by The Council of Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to the Woodbine Commercial District be appropriated for construction of streetscape work and infrastructure improvements on Nolensville Road.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
