RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-744
A resolution requesting the Metropolitan Hospital Authority to remove the directional sign for Metropolitan Nashville General Hospital located on Charlotte Avenue.
WHEREAS, it is the desire
of the Metropolitan Council that the billboard directional sign on Charlotte
Avenue, which directs persons to Metropolitan Nashville General Hospital, is
an unnecessary expense and this sign should be removed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as requesting the Metropolitan Hospital Authority to remove the directional sign for Metropolitan Nashville General Hospital located on Charlotte Avenue
SECTION 2. That the Metropolitan Clerk is directed to send a certified copy of this Resolution to the chairman and members of the Metropolitan Hospital Authority.
SECTION 3. That the chairman and members of the Metropolitan Hospital Authority are further requested to inform The Metropolitan Council of the feasibility and/or the actions taken in compliance with the request contained in Section 1 thereof, not later than sixty (60) days after the adoption of this Resolution.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
