A resolution changing the annual deadline for application to defer real property taxes.

Whereas, Tennessee Code Annotated sections 7-64-103 and 7-64-212 have been amended to allow local legislative bodies, by resolution, to change the annual deadline for accepting applications to defer real property tax.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That application for deferral of real property taxes for property located in Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County shall be made annually on or before December 31 of each year.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
