A resolution requesting the Mayor and the Director of Finance to provide the Metropolitan Council with the financial information relative to the ability to reduce the property tax rate if an increase in the Metro city motor vehicle sticker is adopted.

WHEREAS, it has been a number of years since this vehicle registration fee has been increased.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. SECTION 2. That the Metropolitan Clerk is directed to send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Mayor and to the Director of Finance.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor and the Director of Finance are further requested to inform The Metropolitan Council of the feasibility and/or the actions taken in compliance with the request contained in Section 1 thereof, not later than thirty (30) days after the adoption of this Resolution.
