A resolution approving a contract in the amount of $96,000.00, by and between the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide training for certain staff members in the WIC Program.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the contract by and between the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, to provide training for certain staff members in the WIC Program in an amount not to exceed $96,000.00, and for a term beginning on August 17, 2001 and extending through December 31, 2001, which contract is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said contract.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
