RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-678

A resolution approving a grant agreement by and between the Tennessee Department of Health, Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, in an amount not to exceed $130,200.00 for the provision of alcohol and drug abuse diagnosis, prevention, treatment, referral for treatment or rehabilitation and training services.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That a grant agreement by and between the Tennessee Department of Health, Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, in an amount not to exceed $130,200.00 for the provision of alcohol and drug abuse diagnosis, prevention, treatment, referral for treatment or rehabilitation and training services, and for a term commencing on July 1, 2001, and extending through June 30, 2002, which contract is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said contract.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
