RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-567
A resolution approving a grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, in an amount not to exceed $317,771.00 for planning, developing, establishing, improving and implementing national primary and secondary air quality standards, with a match of previously budgeted local funds not to exceed $228,556.00.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That a grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department, in an amount not to exceed $317,771.00 for planning, developing, establishing, improving and implementing national primary and secondary air quality standards, with a match of previously budgeted local funds not to exceed $228,556.00, for a project term commencing on October 1, 2000, and extending through September 30, 2001, which grant is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
