RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-566
A resolution appropriating $75,500 in Community Development Block Grant funds for summer youth programs in the Nashville Enterprise Community.
WHEREAS, the application for the Twenty-Fourth Year of the Community Development Block Grant Program has been approved by Ordinance No. 097-995;
WHEREAS, the application for the Twenty-Fourth Year included funds for the Nashville Enterprise Community;
WHEREAS, the strategic plan for the Nashville Enterprise Community included summer programs and activities for youth; and
WHEREAS, the Hadley Park Tennis Program, Edgehill Center, Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, and Pride Revive, Inc. have submitted a proposal to conduct summer programs for Nashville Enterprise Community youth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That $75,500 of Community Development Block Grant Funds is hereby appropriated for the Hadley Park Tennis Program, Edgehill Center, Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, and Pride Revive, Inc. to conduct summer programs in the Nashville Enterprise Community.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
