RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-518
A resolution approving a 90-day extension of the grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Primary Health Care, to the Metropolitan Government, by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for health care for the homeless in the amount of $154,293.00.
Whereas, Resolution No. RS2000-417 approved a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Primary Health Care, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for health care for the homeless; and,
Whereas, the grant has been extended for 90 days; and,
Whereas, it is in the best interest of the Metropolitan Government to approve said amendment.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That the 90-day extension to the grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Primary Health Care, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, providing health care for the homeless, in the amount of $154,293.00, and for a budget period of November 1, 1999 through January 31, 2001, which agreement is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said amendment extension.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
