RESOLUTION NO. RS2001-498
A resolution initiating a rezoning request to the Metropolitan Planning Commission for the purpose of rezoning certain property at 1524 Neelys Bend Road.
WHEREAS, Section 40.060 of the Metropolitan Code provides that the Metropolitan Council by resolution may initiate, with the Metropolitan Planning Commission, a rezoning request for the purpose of effectuating the land use policies of an adopted subarea plan for a zone district classification that would conform to the land use policy of the adopted General Plan; all fees shall be waived for a rezoning that originates by this method.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby requests the Metropolitan Planning Commission to prepare and submit the necessary legislation for adoption by the Metropolitan Council that would fulfill the specific objective of implementing the residential land use policy adopted in the Subarea 4 Plan by rezoning from CN to RS40 property at 1524 Neelys Bend Road.
SECTION 2. The application fee for amending the Official Zoning Map for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in accordance with Section 1 is hereby waived.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
