RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-420

A resolution approving a contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and United Way of Metropolitan Nashville for specific services in support of the Ryan White Community AIDS Partnership.

Whereas, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, has entered into an agreement with United Way of Metropolitan Nashville to assist the Ryan White Community AIDS Partnership with the 2000 needs assessment process; and,

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this contract be approved.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the contract by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and United Way of Metropolitan Nashville to assist the Ryan White Community AIDS Partnership with the 2000 needs assessment process, to be at no cost to the Metropolitan Government, and for a term beginning on July 1, 2000 and extending through August 31, 2000, which agreement is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
