RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-418

A resolution approving a contract by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Campus For Human Development for the provision of walk-in clinics, health and various related services to the homeless of Nashville and Davidson County.

Whereas, Campus For Human Development has agreed to provide walk-in clinics, health and various other related services for the homeless of Nashville and Davidson County and has contracted with The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, who will cooperate with Campus in planning and evaluating services on behalf of homeless individuals; and,

Whereas, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County that said contract be approved.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the contract by and between Campus For Human Development and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for the provision of walk-in clinics, health and various other related services to assist the homeless of Nashville and Davidson County, in an amount not to exceed $250,000.00, and for a term beginning on November 1, 2000 and extending through October 31, 2001, be and the same is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
