RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-368

A resolution approving a grant from the State of Tennessee to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health to fund the WIC Program to provide specific nutritious food to low income women, infants, and children.

Be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the grant from the State of Tennessee between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for a term beginning October 1, 2000, and ending September 30, 2001, which contract is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said grant.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
