Resolution No. RS2000-266

A resolution recognizing Ms. Barbara Frazier on receiving the 1999 Tennessee Supervisor of the Year Award for the Communication Division of the Metropolitan Police Department.

WHEREAS, Ms. Frazier, has been an employee of the Communication Division of the Metropolitan Police Department for twenty-four years; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Frazier is always at the workplace setting a good example to the employees by being professional at all times; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Frazier is hard working, considerate of people and goes beyond the call of duty; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Frazier is consistent, dependable and accurate in carrying out responsibilities; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Frazier takes the time to let each and every employee know that they are needed and appreciated, either by giving proper recognition to worthy employees or a meaningful gift or card on their birthday; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognize Ms. Barbara Frazier on her outstanding work ethic.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as recognizing Ms. Barbara Frazier on receiving the 1999 Tennessee Supervisor of the Year Award for the Communication Division of the Metropolitan Police Department.

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is directed to prepare a copy of this Resolution to be presented to Ms. Barbara Frazier.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
