Resolution No. RS2000-265

A resolution recognizing Mr. Charles "Chuck" Jones on receiving the 1999 Support/Technician Year Award for the Metropolitan Police Department.

WHEREAS, Mr. Jones, has been an employee of the Metropolitan Police Department for more than ten years; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Jones has worked his way through the ranks and now works as a member of the Police CAD Implementation team; and

WHEREAS, regardless of the problem (large or small, minor or major), Mr. Jones is always willing and able to help; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Jones is a hard working and dedicated employee, along with being on time in carrying out his many responsibilities; and

WHEREAS, not only does Mr. Jones perform and handle his everyday work schedule, he works with other outside agencies on CAD related issues; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognize Mr. Charles "Chuck" Jones on his outstanding work ethic.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as recognizing Mr. Charles "Chuck" Jones on receiving the 1999 Support/Technician Year Award for the Metropolitan Police Department.

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is directed to prepare a copy of this Resolution to be presented to Mr. Charles "Chuck" Jones.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
