Resolution No RS2000-257

A resolution recognizing Glendan Davis Craig for his service with the Metropolitan Traffic and Parking Commission.

WHEREAS, Mr. Craig is a distinguished resident of Nashville, whose outstanding and selfless deeds of service have been beneficial to the Metropolitan Traffic and Parking Commission; and

WHEREAS, on Monday, June 12, 2000, Mr. Craig attended his final Metropolitan Traffic and Parking Commission meeting after four years of dedicated and faithful service; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Craig was first appointed to the Traffic and Parking Commission in 1995, under the administration of Mayor Phil Bredesen; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Craig has served the past two years as Vice Chairman of the Metropolitan Traffic and Parking Commission a position he has held with distinction; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as recognizing Mr. Craig for his outstanding contributions individually and collectively to the Metropolitan Traffic and Parking Commission.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as recognizing Glendan Davis Craig for his service with the Metropolitan Traffic and Parking Commission.

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is directed to prepare a copy of the Resolution to be presented to Mr. Glendan Davis Craig.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
