RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-239

A resolution approving a contract between the State of Tennessee Department of Health and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for provision of inspection, permitting, enforcement, training and standardization and reporting for hotels, food service, public swimming pools and bed and breakfast establishments.

Be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the contract between the State of Tennessee Department of Health and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for provision of inspection, permitting, enforcement, training and standardization and reporting for hotels, food service, public swimming pools and bed and breakfast establishments, with a term beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2002, and with compensation to the Metropolitan Government consisting of retention of 90% of the collected permit fees, which contract is attached hereto and made part of this resolution, be and the same is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said contract.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
