RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-237

A resolution authorizing an extension of a grant between the State of Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Juvenile Court for the provision of Custody Prevention Services.

Whereas, Ordinance BL99-55 authorized a grant between the State of Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Juvenile Court for the provision of Custody Prevention Services; and

Whereas, this the parties desire to extend term of this Grant to allow the Grant to be paid to the Metropolitan Government; and

Now therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the grant by and between the State of Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through Juvenile Court, in an amount not to exceed Twenty Five Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety Two Dollars ($25,922.00), for the provision of Custody Prevention Services, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2: This resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

I move to amend Resolution No. R2000-237 by deleting the figure "$25,922.00" in Section 1 and substituting the following figure:
