RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-187
A resolution appropriating certain 2000 Housing and Community Development funds.
Whereas, Ordinance No. 099-69 specified programs to utilize the 2000 Housing and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG Funds); and
Whereas, certain activities are, or soon will be ready to begin expenditures of the allocated funds;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency is authorized to expend and/or transfer to be expended 2000 CDBG funds in the following amounts for the following purposes:
| a. General Administration | $ 553,000 |
| b. Planning and Urban Environmental Design | 437,000 |
| c. Rehabilitation (Rehabilitation Loans, Emergency Rehabilitation) | 1,357,000 |
| d. Acquisition of Real Property | 502,400 |
| e. Relocation | 50,300 |
| f. Economic Development | 126,000 |
| g. Affordable Housing Assistance | 117,100 |
| h. Youth Initiatives Program | 160,000 |
| i. Section 108 Loan Repayment | 875,000 |
Total |
$4,177,800 |
The remaining funds will be appropriated by resolution as plans are completed and filed.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
