RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-177

A resolution adding the architectural firm of Thompson Architectural Group, P.C. to the master list of architects and engineers, which master list was approved by Resolution No. R94-1050.

Whereas, Metropolitan Code of Laws, § 2.08.040 is as follows:

A. The metropolitan county mayor is authorized to execute and enter into on behalf of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County professional services contracts with any and all firms listed on the master list of architectural/engineering firms on a project-by-project basis and upon the recommendation of the capital improvements architectural/engineering review board.

B. Architectural/engineering firms may be added to the master list of architectural/engineering firms by resolution.

Whereas, Regulation R2-302.01, subsection (a)(ii) of the Metropolitan Government Procurement Standards Board is as follows:

Maintenance of Master Lists ¾

The Director of Finance shall see to it that the master lists are entered in a centralized file which shall be accessible to all departments and agencies of Metropolitan Government.

It shall be the obligation of firms on the master lists to keep the information submitted current by notifying the Director of Finance of significant changes in the status of any item by reporting it on an updated Form FF-101. Should the Director of Finance learn of significant changes which have not been reported within a reasonable period of time, he/she may submit to the Metropolitan Council a resolution to remove the subject firm from the master list upon notice of that action being given to the firm.

Firms may be added to the master lists periodically by following the procedures outlined in (i) above.

Whereas, Regulation R2-302.01, subsection (a)(ii) of the Metropolitan Government Procurement Standard Board has been fully complied with and pursuant thereto, the Director of Finance and the Purchasing Agent submit that the following architectural firm and engineering firm be added to the Master List of Architects and Engineers:

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the architectural and/or engineering firm listed above is added to the Master List of Architects and Engineers, which was approved by Resolution No. R94-1050.

Section 2: This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
