RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-169

A resolution approving a grant in an amount not to exceed $28,000 per year from the State of Tennessee, Department of Agriculture to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health for the inspection, reporting and enforcement of retail food stores in Davidson County.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant by and between the State of Tennessee, Department of Agriculture and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Health for a term of January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2004, in an amount not to exceed twenty eight thousand dollars ($28,000) per year for the inspection, reporting and enforcement of retail food stores in Davidson County, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
