RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-167

A resolution approving a grant in an amount not to exceed $455,200, from the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department for the provision of HIV/AIDS prevention and surveillance services.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant from the State of Tennessee, Department of Health, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County through the Metropolitan Health Department for the provision of HIV/AIDS prevention and surveillance services, in an amount not to exceed $455,200, for a term commencing on January 1, 2000, and extending through December 31, 2000, which grant is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
