RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-144

A resolution approving a grant to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health from the Department of Environment and Conservation of the State of Tennessee in the amount of $21,500.00 for participating in the Environmental Justice community survey.

Be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by the Metropolitan Board of Health from the Department of Environment and Conservation of the State of Tennessee in the amount of $21,500.00 for participating in the Environmental Justice community survey and for a term commencing on January 6, 2000, and extending through June 30, 2000, a copy of which grant contract is attached hereto and made part of this resolution be, and the same is, hereby approved.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
