RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-143

A resolution amending R95-1475 by approving Amendment Six to the contract approved by said resolution by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health and Volunteer State Health Plan Inc. (formerly Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Inc.) for TennCare transportation services.

Be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That resolution R95-1475 be amended by approval of Amendment Six to the contract approved by said resolution by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health and Volunteer State Health Plan Inc. (formerly Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Inc.) for administration of transportation services for TennCare enrollees, which amendment deletes Section 9.1 of the contract and substitutes a new provision extending the term of the contract to December 31, 2000, which amendment is attached hereto and made a part of this resolution, be and the same is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
