RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-127

A resolution amending R99-1628 and the grant for $35,625 from the Tennessee Department of Health to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department (downtown clinic) for the provision of alcohol and drug abuse diagnosis, prevention, treatment, referral for treatment or rehabilitation, and training services by increasing the grant amount by $49,375 to a total of $85,000.

Be It resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the amendment to the grant from the Tennessee Department of Health to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department (downtown clinic) for provision of alcohol and drug diagnosis, prevention, treatment, referral for treatment or rehabilitation, and training services, amending R99-1628 and the grant contract by increasing the grant amount by $49,375 to a total of $85,000, which amendment is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
