RESOLUTION NO. RS2000-103
A resolution honoring Ms. Janet Stout on becoming a 1999 National Board Certified Teacher.
WHEREAS, Ms. Janet Stout, educator at Cameron Middle School, achieved prestigious distinction of becoming a 1999 National Board Certified Teacher; and
WHEREAS, in receiving this Nashville Certification, Ms. Stout may teach in any of the fifty states across America; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Stout has dedicated her career to teaching students for many years in Tennessee; and
WHEREAS, by putting herself through the demanding certification process, she believes the results of her efforts are powerful and significant; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognize Ms. Janet Stout on her hard work, dedication and goal on academic excellence in education on becoming a certified teacher.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby goes on record as honoring Ms. Janet Stout on becoming a 1999 National Board Certified Teacher.
SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is directed to prepare a certificate to be presented to Ms. Janet Stout.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
