SUBSTITUTE RESOLUTION NO. SR99-1480
A substitute resolution requesting the Mayor’s Office to fund the construction of the Bellevue regional library when funds are available.
WHEREAS, there is a need to improve and expand library services in the Bellevue area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as requesting the Mayor’s Office to fund the construction of the Bellevue regional library when funds are available.
SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Clerk is directed to send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Mayor.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
