RESOLUTION NO. R99-1626

A resolution amending grant R99-1416, from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Service to the Metropolitan Government through the Board of Health for health care for the homeless, by increasing the amount of the grant from $593,437.00 to $617,174.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the Grant Award from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Service to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by and through the Board of Health in the amount of $593,437.00, for a term commencing on November 1, 1998 and extending through October 30, 1999, approved by the Metropolitan Council in R99-1416, is amended by increasing the grant by $23,737.00 for a total grant of $617,174.00 and this amendment which is attached and, hereby incorporated, is approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
