RESOLUTION NO. R99-1585

A resolution approving a grant of $75,000 from the state of Tennessee, Department of Health, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health for the provision of primary dental services to the homeless.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the grant by and between the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Health Department and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide primary dental care services at the downtown clinic for the homeless, in an amount not to exceed Seventy-five Thousand dollars ($75,000.00) a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby accepted, and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
