RESOLUTION NO. R99-1577

A resolution to appropriate $500,814 from the unappropriated fund balance of the solid waste fund and $496,103 from the general fund - solid waste reserve fund for an increase in supplement to Nashville Thermal Transfer Corporation.

Whereas, there is a need to increase the Metropolitan Governments supplement to Nashville Thermal Transfer Corporation ("NTTC") in accordance with request from NTTC for FY98/99, and

Whereas, it is in the best interest of the Metropolitan Government to appropriate the amount of $996,917 to fund this increase,

Now therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County

Section 1: That there is hereby appropriated $500,814 from the unappropriated balance of the Solid Waste Fund, (30501-42700100) (BA 1-146, MP599.501) to be transferred to the Solid Waste Fund - NTTC Contract, to the Department of Public Works in Account No. (30501-42700700) (BAI-146,NT599.592) to finance the increase in the supplement to NTTC.

Section 2: There is hereby appropriated $496,103 from the General Fund Solid Waste Reserve Fund (10101, 42115000)(BAI-101,521.352), to be transferred to the Solid Waste Fund-NTTC Contract, to the Department of Public Works in account (30501-42700700) (BAI-146,MP599.592) to finance the increase in the supplement to NTTC.

Section 3: That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
