RESOLUTION NO. R99-1576

A resolution appropriating Six Million One Hundred Sixty-One Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($6,161,789) from increased revenues from other governments, designated fund balances, and undesignated fund balances in various funds to the departments of Public Works, Parks, Finance, and Water Services to repair damage from the April 16, 1998 tornado.

Whereas, the Metropolitan Council desires to appropriate to certain accounts for the benefit of the Public Works, Parks, Finance, and Water Services Departments the amount of Six Million One Hundred Sixty-One Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($6,161,789) from increased revenues from other governments, designated fund balances, and undesignated fund balances in various funds for expenses related to the April 16, 1998 tornado.

Now therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

Section 1. That the following sums are hereby appropriated from the General fund of the General Services District to the accounts listed below, which are in addition to those contained in the current operating budget:
