RESOLUTION NO. R99-1557

A resolution accepting $6,500 in compromise and settlement of the Metropolitan Government's claim against Ronald E. Storey.

Whereas, on September 21, 1998, Micah Cohn, an emplouee of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Department of Police was involved in a vehicular accident with Ronald E. Storey that resulted in property damage to the Metropolitan Government; and,

Whereas, after investigation, the Department of Law believes that the settlement listed in Section 1 is fair and reasonable, and recommends that the claim be compromised and settled in the amount of $6,500 and that these funds be deposited into the U.S.D. General Fund.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: The Metropolitan Department of Law is authorized to accept the amount of $6,500.00 in compromise and settlement of its claim against Ronald E. Storey.

Section 2: This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
