RESOLUTION NO. R99-1547

A resolution approving the appointment of Mr. Robert Gardenhire to the Metropolitan Nashville Port Authority.

Whereas, Mr. Robert Gardenhire has completed his latest term of service on the Metropolitan Nashville Port Authority; and

Whereas, Mayor Bredesen has requested that Mr. Gardenhire be reappointed to the Port Authority for a term set to expire on March 15, 2000; and

Whereas, Mr. Gardenhire has demonstrated that he is well-qualified to serve in said position.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the reappointment of Mr. Robert Gardenhire to the Metropolitan Nashville Port Authority is hereby approved.

Section 2. That Mr. Gardenhire’s term on the Metropolitan Nashville Port Authority will expire March 15, 2000.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
