RESOLUTION NO. R99-1532

A resolution recognizing Calina Cook for her outstanding contributions to the Metro Animal Control Facility.

WHEREAS, Calina Cook has been instrumental in helping to insure that the Metro Animal Control Facility can carry out its objectives to provide needed shelter and placement for domestic animals; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Cook has unselfishly volunteered her time, talents, energy and resources to the Metro Animal Control Facility to help make Nashville a better hometown for its citizens; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognize Ms. Colina Cook for her outstanding service and contributions to the community.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as recognizing Calina Cook for her outstanding service and contributions to the Metro Animal Control Facility and to the Nashville and Davidson County area.

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is directed to prepare a certificate to be presented to Calina Cook

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
