RESOLUTION NO. R99-1503
A resolution expressing the intent of the Metropolitan Council to accept as a public sewer the sewer line owned by the Department of Social Services which is located at Bordeaux Hospital property.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a sewer line serving Metro Social Services facilities and the Bordeaux Hospital property is not a public sewer line, but a private line owned by the Department of Social Services; and
WHEREAS, in order to permit construction of a new YWCA facility in this area, it is necessary that the YWCA facility connect to such sewer line which needs to be a public line; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Social Services desires that their private sewer line become a public sewer line; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council express its intent to accept as a public line the sewer line owned by the Department of Social Services located at the Bordeaux Hospital property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as expressing its intent to adopt the legislation necessary to accept the sewer line at the Bordeaux Hospital property owned by the Department of Social Services as a public sewer line.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
