RESOLUTION NO. R99-1493

A resolution approving a grant to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health from the United States Environmental Protection Agency in the amount of $7,820.00 for participating in the Ozone Mapping Project.

Be it resolved by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by the Metropolitan Board of Health from the Environmental Protection Agency for $7,820.00, for participation in the Ozone Mapping Project under the Environmental Monitoring for Public Access and Community Tracking (EMPACT) Program and for a term commencing on March 31, 1999 and extending through September 30, 1999, a copy of which grant is attached hereto and made part of this resolution be, and the same is, hereby approved.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
