RESOLUTION NO. R99-1468
A resolution appropriating and transferring two million dollars ($2,000,000) from the Reserve for Library Books and Technology in the general fund of the General Services District to the Library Special Projects Fund for the acquisition of library books and technology.
Whereas, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County maintains a Reserve Account in the amount of $2,000,000 for library books and technology in the general fund of the General Services District; and
Whereas, it is necessary and in the public interest of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to appropriate and transfer the Reserve funds to allow the Library to begin acquiring books and technology.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That the $2,000,000 provided in a reserve account for library books and technology in the general fund of the General Services District of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County be and same is hereby appropriated and transferred to the Library Special Projects Fund:

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government requiring it.
