RESOLUTION NO. R99-1452

A resolution recognizing Mr. Joseph Campbell upon his retirement from service with the Metropolitan Health Department.

WHEREAS, on February 26, 1999, Mr. Joseph Campbell retired after completing 25 years of dedicated and faithful service with the Metropolitan Health Department; and

WHEREAS, throughout his career Mr. Campbell was known for his dedicated public service to the Metro Health Department, for being a tireless aide to the department, and for being a trusted friend and confidant to his co-workers; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Campbell has been committed to performing his job to the best of his ability and has always set a Christian example for others to follow in their lives; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognize Mr. Joseph Campbell upon his retirement from service with the Metropolitan Health Department.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as honoring Mr. Joseph Campbell upon his retirement from service following 25 years of dedicated service with the Metropolitan Health Department.

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is directed to prepare a certificate to be presented to Mr. Joseph Campbell.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
