RESOLUTION NO. R99-1450

A resolution honoring Richard D. Fletcher, Jr.

Whereas, Mr. Richard D. Fletcher, Jr. served on the Board of Zoning Appeals Board from December 20, 1994 to February 26, 1999; and

Whereas, Mr. Fletcher's term expired February 26, 1999; and

Whereas, Mr. Fletcher served on the Crisis Center Board of Directors, Thermal Board and served on various subcommittees for the Nashville Chamber of Commerce; and

Whereas, Mr. Fletcher has extensive architectural and real estate background; and

Whereas, Mr. Fletcher has spent tireless hours as a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals; and

Whereas, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council honor Mr. Richard Fletcher for his outstanding service to the community.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as honoring Mr. Richard D. Fletcher, Jr.

Section 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is requested to prepare a certificate to be presented to Richard D. Fletcher, Jr.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
