RESOLUTION NO. R99-1447

A resolution recognizing the Father Ryan High School Wrestling Team on winning the State Division II Title Championship.

WHEREAS, the Father Ryan High School Wrestling Team won the State Division II Title Championship; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council recognize the Father Ryan High School Wrestling Team for bringing honor and distinction to the Nashville community.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as honoring the Father Ryan High School Wrestling Team on winning the State Division II Title Championship

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is requested to prepare a certificate to be presented to the coach and to each member of the team.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
