RESOLUTION NO. R98-999 A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM INCREASED REVENUE SOURCES TO THE
DEPARTMENT OF FIRE OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT.
WHEREAS, additional funds in the amount of $25,000 have been received during fiscal year FY 1997-98 due to increased revenue derived from a donation by the Newsome Family to be used by the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, said money is to be used by the Department of Fire to purchase an imaging camera; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to make an appropriation from this revenue to the departmental appropriation contained in FY 1997-98 operating budget so as to cover the required costs.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the following sum is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the Urban Services District to the account listed below which is in addition to those contained in the current operating budget:

Section 2. That the above additional appropriation is to be funded from the following source:

Section 3.This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government requiring it.
