RESOLUTION NO. R98-996

A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM INCREASED REVENUE SOURCE TO THE METROPOLITAN GENERAL SESSIONS COURT.

WHEREAS, additional funds have been received during fiscal year FY 1997-98 due to increased revenue derived from the General Sessions Court; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to make an appropriation from this revenue to the departmental appropriation contained in FY 1997-98 operating budget so as to cover required expenses associated with the programs under the General Sessions Courts.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the following sum is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the General Services District to the account listed below which is in addition to those contained in the current operating budget:

Section 2. The above additional appropriation is to be funded from the following source:

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government requiring it.
