RESOLUTION NO. R98-1361

 A resolution accepting and approving a grant contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Health and Oasis Center Inc. for the amount of $5,000.00 for the provision of assistance and social services to homeless youth of Nashville, Davidson County.

 Whereas, Oasis Center Inc. has approved a grant to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Health for assistance and social services to homeless youth of Nashville, Davidson County. For this service Oasis Center Inc. agrees to pay Metropolitan Department of Health Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant contract be approved.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant contract by and between Oasis Center Inc. and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Department of Health, for assistance and social services to homeless youth of Nashville, Davidson County in an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), a copy of which contract is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
